Mayor Paul Medany’s Monthly Message - November 2016
November is a busy month for Deptford Township. Leaf pickup is underway and we ask you to follow the Leaf Collection schedule. You can find it on our website or in the newsletter. We make every attempt to stay on schedule with the exception of severe weather. Please do not rake leaves into the middle of the road thinking they will get picked up sooner, we follow the schedule.
The holiday shopping season is approaching and we want you to know Deptford is the place to go to for the best shopping and dining. Our retail shopping area is the safest, cleanest and most accessible in the region.
Veterans Day is November 11th and we salute all of our men and women in uniform for their bravery and service. Please display your American flag to show your thanks and patriotism.
We have some great events coming this season such as the Christmas Tree Lighting, the 7th Annual Mayor and Council Toy & Food Drive, the Senior Light bus tour and many more so check out the event schedules. We hope you can attend.
