The Deptford Township Police Department is fortunate to have a full-time police sub-station located within the Deptford Mall.  This sub-station was developed many years ago and is a long standing partnership between the police department and the Deptford Mall management company.  The Deptford Mall Police Sub-Station is funded entirely by Deptford Mall management, which provides for police coverage at the mall during all operational hours. 

Currently, three (3) officers are assigned at the sub-station and they are responsible for patrolling and handling all calls for service which occur on the property owned and managed by the Deptford Mall.  The above listed officers are a very dedicated and motivated group and they do an outstanding job preventing and detecting criminal activity at and around the mall.  Their presence at the mall is a real deterrent to criminal behavior and we have noted measurable reduction in crime due to their diligence.
