Mayor Paul Medany’s Monthly Message - May 2013     

Welcome to our monthly message. Our Annual 5K run and walk was held on April 27 and turned out to be a huge success. This fun run and walk for adults and children promotes health and wellness and also raised money for our Deptford Township Veterans’ Committee. We have close to 1400 retired and active members of the Armed Forces in Deptford Township. 

Upcoming this month on May 26th we will dedicate our Veteran’s Memorial Park located in Oak Valley. Our Veteran’s Memorial dedication is being held on May 26th. We will honor their service and sacrifices. We also thank their families who are so courageous and supportive. 

Our Keep Deptford Clean Program is in full swing and we encourage you to participate by picking up litter, mowing lawns and maintain properties. Beautifying our town and keeping it clean makes us a better community. 

Our Administration is hard at work on many projects, improving services, public safety, capital projects, recreation and building community spirit are just a few we work on constantly.
