Township Council commends Deptford Public Works Department and Deptford MUA for an outstanding job clearing our roads. We also commend the dedication of the Emergency Management team who worked late to ensure all issues were handled during the storm. Deptford is one of the few municipalities with our own Emergency Operations Center.
This Nor'easter was fast moving and very challenging due to the heavy snow. Our department handled downed trees, clogged drains, ice and water issues with the utmost professionalism. Our crews are extremely well equipped, trained and most of all dedicated to keeping Deptford Township safe. We are counting the days until Spring.
