Locust Grove Boulevard & Village Boulevard Roadway Improvement Project

Construction Anticipated in 2027
Deptford Township is planning roadway improvements along the entire lengths of Locust Grove Boulevard and Village Boulevard through the Community Project Funding FY24 grant. Construction is anticipated in 2027.
Proposed Improvements
The project will generally include:
- Milling and resurfacing of both roadways.
- Full-depth pavement repairs where significant failures exist.
- Resetting of utility valves, sanitary manholes, and drainage inlets.
- Drainage inlet upgrades with bicycle-safe grates and Type “N” eco-castings.
- ADA-compliant curb ramp and detectable warning surface improvements.
- New long-life reflective pavement striping and retro-reflective signage.
- Crosswalk improvements at Locust Grove Boulevard and Village Boulevard
Construction is anticipated in 2027. Temporary traffic-control measures and travel delays may occur during construction. Additional information regarding the construction schedule and traffic impacts will be provided as the project progresses.
