NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 

ONE 2011 CASE 590 SUPER N LOADER BACKHOE

OR APPROVED EQUAL

 

        NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for One 2011 Case 590 Super N Loader Backhoe or Approved Equal will be received by the Deptford Township Clerk no later than Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time in the 1st floor Conference Room, Deptford Township, 1011 Cooper Street, Deptford, New Jersey.

 

        No bid will be accepted which is not in a sealed envelope or which is received after the specified time and date. Any bids which are received in an unsealed condition or which are received after the time and date specified will be rejected.

 

        All of the sealed bids which have been properly submitted will be opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the Deptford Township Municipal Building on the date and at the time specified above.

 

        Proposal forms, Instructions to Bidders, Specifications, Affirmative Action Affidavits and other bid documents may be examined or obtained at the office of the Township Clerk during normal business hours which are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

        A non-refundable fee of $25.00 in the form of cash or a check made payable to the Township of Deptford will be required for each set of specifications.

 

        The Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive any provisions as may be permitted by law.

 

        Each bid must be accompanied by a performance guaranty as required by the specifications.

 

        Bidders are required to comply with the applicable provisions of law, including the State of New Jersey Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A.  40A:11-1 et seq.; the affirmative action requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq.; the disclosure requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 et seq. and with the applicable provisions of the New Jersey Administrative Code.

 

        The contract, if it is awarded, will be awarded within the time provided by law. No bid may be withdrawn prior to either the execution of the contract or the expiration of the sixty (60) day period after the opening of the bids, whichever event shall first occur.

 

        All bidders are advised that no contract will be awarded to any corporation not authorized to do Business in the State of New Jersey or whose charter or authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey has been suspended.
