7/3/2019 - NOTICE TO RESIDENTS - CRAIG DRIVE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS IN ALMOLIND HOMES

Due to recent water main breaks on Craig Drive, the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority (DTMUA) Board has authorized an expedited emergency replacement of the water main.  This new service will provide you and your family with top of the line water service for years to come.

On or about July 8, 2019, the DTMUA will be starting the water main replacement project on Craig Drive. This project will entail replacing the existing water main, water services and shut off valves.

The project, except for final paving, is expected to be completed within one month, depending on weather conditions.

You will see vehicles from the DTMUA, Pioneer Pipe our contractor and CME Engineering our inspectors in the area.

Customers on Craig Drive will have continued service until it is time to connect their home to the newly installed water service. The shut off in order to connect a home usually takes one hour.  We will attempt to let you know the morning we intend to connect your home and will knock on the door before we turn off your water to connect to the new service.

Customers on Bruce Drive, Elgin Street and Dumont Street should not experience any lack of service for the duration of the project.

Customers will be able to access their properties during construction. We apologize for any temporary inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation and patience during construction hours so the work can be done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact the Deptford Township Utilities Authority at 856-415-1111 or Mark Faustino of CME Associates at 609-760-9828.
