Title: Vehicle Mechanic: DTMUA is a union shop
Job Specification:
Perform skilled mechanical work involving the maintenance, repair and servicing of various types of motor vehicles, motorized DTMUA/Deptford TWP equipment.
Requirements:
MUST possess an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Must have at least five (5) years of vehicle and construction mechanic experience.
Required background check, proof of citizenship, and fit to work physical testing.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Not limited to: Knowledge of where and how a variety of automotive systems, components, accessories, and parts of systems such as wheel cylinders, fuel lines, condensers, and mufflers are installed and maintained.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keep all requested vehicles in working order, preserve and maintain vehicle maintenance logs. Perform any and all tasks assigned by any supervisor.
Salary/Health & Welfare:
$50,0000 to $70,000 for first year per experience. Raises in accord to union contract.
12 days sick, 12 days vacation, 3 days personnel – prorated.
