PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC RATE HEARING
DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, the 21st day of April 2026 at 5:00 P.M. during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority a Public Rate Hearing shall be held on the proposed adjustments of Deptford MUA’s various charges. The Rate Hearing will be held at 898 Cattell Road, (Wenonah) in the Township of Deptford, New Jersey.
SEWER CHARGES

CONNECTION FEES WATER AND SEWER CHARGES
The proposed adjustment to the connection charge will be as follows: A connection charge shall be imposed for each water connection and each sewer connection in the following amounts:
Water Sewer
Effective May 1, 2026 $ 2,740.00 $ 2,285.00
Per domestic consumer unit or equivalent domestic consumer unit in accordance with the schedule of rates in the rules and regulations of the Authority.
The Connection Fee Charge Adjustments are for new connections and projects and does not apply to existing customers who are presently connected to the water and sewer system.
ALL OF THE ABOVE REFLECTS ONLY THE RATES FROM THE DTMUA RATE SCHEDULE THAT ARE PROPOSED TO BE AMENDED; ALL OTHER RATES AND REQUIREMENTS REMAIN THE SAME.
The public hearing shall be held at the date and time stated above to hear testimony related to the proposed rate adjustments. Rates will be effective May 1, 2026.
